Faculty of Clinical Medicine – Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University
The Faculty of Clinical Medicine is a distinguished center of clinical education, patient care, and medical innovation. As a core component of COOU's medical training, the faculty is dedicated to producing highly skilled, compassionate, and ethically grounded medical doctors. The Faculty of Clinical Medicine is based at the Awka Campus, which houses the College of Medicine and Teaching Hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities at the Amaku General Hospital .
The faculty is led by the Dean, a position currently held by Prof. Obiora Ejiofor, a Professor of Paediatrics . The faculty's administrative office includes a dedicated Dean's office staff .
Since its establishment as part of the university, the faculty has remained unwavering in its commitment to addressing pressing health challenges, from infectious diseases to non-communicable conditions, through excellence in clinical training, research, and community service.
